About Us

Welcome to the University of Toronto's first, and only, Medieval Studies undergraduate journal! 

Founded in 2022 by Annika Rempel, Lunellum carves a space for undergraduate students to publish their academic writing. We invite all students who have written an essay related to medieval studies in the past 2 years to submit their work. Essays must be original, free from AI-generated aids, and pertain to the Middle Ages (c. 500-1550 preferred).  

Contributors do not have to be registered in a Medieval Studies program, and may submit an essay from any course designator.
