Submitting a Paper:
​​As a note, Lunellum only accepts papers written for University of Toronto courses.
As a paper pertaining to medieval studies may come from an unaffiliated course, Lunellum accepts papers from all course designators, but prioritizes papers from the ​following designators: MST, CLT, CHC, ENG, FRE, SPA, FAH, HIS, PHL, NMC, SMC, GER, ITA, BMS, EAS. ​

There are no topic restrictions for submissions.

Paper Requirements

Must have received a grade of A- or higher (papers pending grading may be submitted, so long as you confirm the final grade)

Must concern a topic relevant to the Middle Ages in a period of time between approximately c. 500 to 1650. Slightly earlier or later years are also acceptable.

Must use appropriate citation and academic writing conventions (e.g. MLA, Chicago, APA, etc.). As a note, we ask that all applicants convert their paper to Chicago Footnote prior to submission, though other writing conventions may be considered.

Must not have been published in any other publication

We accept simultaneous submissions, although please let us know if you have been accepted elsewhere.

Must be 4000 words or less

Applicants may submit one (1) paper per submission cycle for our print edition.

Please ensure:​

Your submission form is titled with your full name and student number (ex: johnsmith_123456789_lunellumsubmission)

Remove any personal or identifying information from the paper itself
